The graphics are nice. I didn't get liking the game enough. A meritable purchase. I would try another in this series.

Game-breaking bugs and boring gameplay
After less than 2 hours, I was locked into an endless dialouge with no ability to even access the options menu - my only option was to stop the game via the task manager. The gaem up to that point had been quiet boring.

love the art; very mike mignola
Overall I have to say it's fun for a while, until you get taunting / stunning groups of enemies, combined with having too many potential cards in each merc's deck. Probably be better over time, but the ramp up is pretty quick.

Fun-ish, but one thing ruins it for me
There is no way to disable an autosave, which is simply unforgivable. I went into a run, finished a fight by the skin of my teeth, then decided after getting back to the main area that I didn't in fact want to do that fight. So I tried to load the last manual save I had, and it was overwritten by the autosave, meaning I had no choice but to proceed to heal everyone or get new characters, either of which wold bankrupt me and hobble my game for the next several levels if I played perfectly. I wasn't really expecting much from this game, since I'm not a fan of card turn based games in general, but this really cemented my dislike for it. The art style is good, the combat is decent, but not if I don't have control over my own saves.
