Game for die and try
Game for die and try It's a game for die and try. With not so good introduction of the mecanisme of the game, one must die very often to learne everything of the rules. Especially with the heroes you take a week to bring up, they can die anytime with the special rules you must learn by loosing them. If you have time and money, you can try.

Hurt so good
Back this game during Kickerstarter, played through earlier access and now playing the full version. This game teaches me a few things about myself that is weird and disturbing. Things like how much I can scream at my screen in frustration. Or things like how much abuse I can take but still come back for more. But seriously though, this is an awesome game. First the atmosphere. This game is an excellent example that you don't need triple A graphics to make a beautiful game. The art direction, coloring and stylized character design all convey the grittiness and brooding atmosphere of the game. The narrator's hammy and overly fancy vocabulary really nail it. Difficulty and gameplay wise. There is ironman mood and that's it. If your go to guy screw up and goes belly up, no do overs. And your guys will screw up because every 3 level, just when you think you got that dungeon down pat, they jack up the difficulty and made your veteran team feel like a punk again. Character customization is a big complex. Some character have great synergy with some character but only in certain position, but those two characters are slow have no movement skills making your formation each to disrupt. Basically, you can agonize for hours trying to figure out a team you like. Just game the game, you'd love it.

Survival
In my opinion what many people don't understand about this game is that you can't never be fully prepared for what is coming on you. Those elements of unpredictable character death, luck (bad luck mostly) and random events are what makes this game so good and real in certain way. For me it's a strategy/rpg with survival elements that gives you great feel where skillful mercenaries but still only weak humans are thrown into world of Silent Hill.

What they try to deliever is miserable
If you think your life is too happy, you could torture yourself with this game. Sometimes we say a game is difficult that means it is not easy to master it. But this game is different, it just throws random nonsense to you and keeps you from playing it. The logic of casual mode existance is simple, let people understand and appreciate the game. But not in this game! Before you understand anything in this game, you've already lost all the money and all the characters to go on with. Normally, the game design logic is letting people encounter difficulties and conquer them. When we have newbies we let them enter low level dungeons to train them as training ourself master skills, right? So even if our character die oftenly, it is fine, since we could always start over, right? But not in this game. We are not talking about an ordinary game, do we? In this game, when your characters fade away, the low level dungeon also is getting fewer and fewer. Simply put, not much choice to go. Some may say, hey, since you've already played for a while, why don't you use newbies to challenge higher level dungeons? Well, that's the f**ked up part. When your character enter higher level dungeon, they're easily getting stressed. Most of time, they could not finished one sweep. If you don't finished the sweep, you get almost nothing. And unuse resource will not be saved for you, and you still need to pay for stress release fee. Then you hire some new newbies start a more misrable trip. This is all fine. They want to make the game more challengable, I get it. It is fine. But hey, when there is no joy in the game, who is gonna play it? Psycho? So, I think that is exact reason, not many people are playing it , right?
