Cyberpunk: Early Access

i7-6700 GTX 1070 gen 3 nvme ssd 1080p ultrawide Peformance was fair. Medium-High settings 30-50fps. PROS: Sidequests are numerous and high quality. Acting is great, some characters are more compelling than others, only wish you could spend more time with the main quest ones. The enviroments are beautiful. CONS: Asset streaming bugs were common. Jackets not visible, guns teleporting, ect. These seem to still be a problem in the 1.05 patch Main questline is pretty short, could probably finish in 10hrs. No 3rd person camera. I don't buy that this is a narrative choice. It's obvious from the clipping clothing visible in screenshot mode and other bugs that the game doesn't have the polish to have it implemented well. This game isn't finished and should have been delayed another year.

Oh it's bad.

This game is a dumpster fire at best. From my experience the PC version has been plagued with bugs. A handful that prevent you from progressing. The earliest being one of the robots getting stuck in a wall during training. Support hasn't acknowledged any issues and requests for a refund have been ignored which is essentially a denial.

get it on steam

I have enjoyed the game so far , even tho there are tons of bugs. I would only recomend if you are about to buy this game get it on Steam because GOG platform is unbelievable slow , downloading 500mb takes forever and syncing after each time you leave the game is crazy slow. All in all if you dont want to experiance bugs I can only say wait a bit, for me tho the game is amazing but I'm giving a lower rating only because of the platform , once again buy it on steam.

Preem jank!

It's a pretty good game with lots of room for improvements and expansion. I think this game has the potential to be one of the best games of the past few years (at least personally). The worldbuilding is incredibly good and you really feel there is more to the city that what you can see and experience. I would love to see more games or expansions dealing with different characters in the same world! I'm playing on a toaster and so far haven't experienced any game breaking issues, only minor bugs and glitches which hopefully will be patched soon. I think most of the really broken stuff is on consoles, which to me is hillarious (I'm not a big console fan). However, I understand people being mad about it. Personally, I would enjoy some additional minigames or leisure time side missions (Kinda like dice poker or Gwent in the Witcher, or golfing/tennis in GTA). If you like immersive sim type games where you can roleplay a little bit and get to know interesting characters I would deffinitely recommend this title on PC!

Make no msitake - the game is good, but

I trully believe that underneath the bugs and 25 fps on my machine, there is a good game in which you can immerse yourself and lose track of time. The closest feeling I can describe is like watching an episode of Altered Carbon (1st season ofc). Don't expect this to be the 2nd cooming of J as it's always easier to be disappointed than impressed. Just have a look at what it has to offer. That being sad, the game does need more polish across many of its areas (technical, gameplay and story/RPG aspects). I would particularly appreciate better optimisation - for example, I can run Doom Eternal at 60 fps minimum at ultra settings 1080p but can barely run this game (I never reach 60 fps). If I was asked to describe this whole situation in 3 phrases, I would say 1) undercooked, 2) over-marketed, 3) over-ambitious.
