Cyberpunk 2077

I've played idk roughly about 30 hours maybe, overall it's a good game and well worth playing. But there are a few things that could be better. First, the game is in need of serious optimizations, It's way too demanding on your graphics card. Either that or they need to change the recommended specs because it's way off. Secondly, there are long stretches where you are arbitrarily not allowed to save your game. It's extremely annoying when your lunch gets cold because you can't shut the game down for 10 minutes because it's in the middle of a VERY long scripted sequence. There is no reason I should not be able to save and shut down the game any time I please. As I said this is a completely arbitrary restriction and it's the most annoying thing about the game imho. The UI could stand some improvements. There are way to many confirmation dialogs when selling items and you can't skip them by just pressing the button again. Some weird button assignments as well. Where it says to press "X" and you have to press "A" instead (Xbox one controller). As to the game breaking bugs that were reported at launch, they seem to have been fixed for the most part. I have only run into issues a couple of times. Mostly items that you can see but are unable to pickup. A couple times I have gotten stuck on the geometry and had to reload a save.

From the little I know about the history, it's about a trend of shareholders pressuring developers and they needing to give out a half-baked cake, lots of bits crude. This is No Man's Sky all over again. The market can be a harsh mistress, but the alternative is worse, and that's it for tangent politics from me... As I've seen their case, they're not fault, they had no choice while being pushed against a wall. The game is of right now, very better than launch, these band-aid patches made it much more playable avoiding crashes, but if the goal is just to avoid, well, it's still tackling the low hanging fruit. A game should be stable as possible and crashes rare. I appreciate the free DLCs as a bonus because of the incident. I have my hopes up, some will call me naive, but believing CDPR is working to put that cake back in the oven and finish cooking it, make a comeback such as No Man's Sky did, the game still has potential to be groundbreaking. I'm not saying it isn't right now, but it's a reasonably broken still. Put your hearts on it, fellas. My mindset is: buying on pre-release is a bad idea. I bought it because I love GOG/CDPR and wanted to support the team, if it was only for badass Keanu Reeves, I'd have bought later. lol If I have to wait another year, fair game. As long as the cake is not a lie. ;)

I will make it short. I love this game. There is several bugs and stuff I would have changed. I waiting for more content and new stories. Despite the bugs, the game deserves we give him strong interest.

Bad game. Not an RPG.

I have 30hrs into the game so far doing a lot of side missions as well. First of all, a lot of ppl are complaining that the game is not a real RPG. From an aspect they might be correct but I must disagre with them. During the conversations the player must make choices you can deny requests. Not to mention that you can customize your outfit your guns, etc. I would say it's not an oldschool RPG like Faloutt 1-2 but it's an RPG like RDR2. All in all I think the story aspect of the game is amazing. It's complex and interesting. Secondly, the graphics are nice but regardless of the recomneded specifications a GTX1060 6GB is not enough to make the game shine but still it does the job. You can play it on medium settings with 40fps. The bugs have been fixed since the disastrous start. You might find some minor glitches but nothing serious. I think I found aprox. 5-6 minor visual glitches within 30hrs. The only downside of the game is the AI of the NPCs. I mean it's kind of a mess how they behave. Mostly they do not react to the envoriment or they run away from you frightened to death. On the other hand I have to praise the AI of the NPCs that are actually involved in the story of the game. They are awesome. Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand is amazing. All in all folks it's a great game that had a disastrous start, it was released before it was completed. Also ppl were super hyped and they were about to play with the best game of all time. The expectations were so high that it was impossible to accomplish. This game (after the patches) is great without any question it is just not the greatest of all time. So don't overthink, purchase it and play it. You won't regret.
