Crysis®

This game is can be easeally considered the progenitor of most of today semi open world shooter. The first part of the game is a blast! Loads of enemies, big levels, the ability to be super stealthy or go in gun blazing. Unfortunately the second half is mostly crap. The Koreans get substituted by some very generic flying polyps which look like their shooting glass shards. Their annoying to fight, you cant have the same strategic approach as before and the levels become just boring shooting gallery like a COD. If it was not for this second boring repetitive part the game would have been perfect. Its however not too long.

Das hier ist die beste Version von Crysis, die es aktuell im Internet zu kaufen gibt. Im Gegensatz zum überteuerten "Remaster" sind hier alle Inhalte enthalten, die im Remaster fehlen (zusätzliche Level, freies Speichern, Quicksaves, bessere Physikeffekte, die beste Steuerung des Nanosuits etc.), und im Gegensatz zur Steam-Version funktioniert die GOG-Version einwandfrei. Kauft es euch hier, anstatt das Vierfache an Geld für das schlechtere "Remaster" mit weniger Inhalt und schlechterer Performance auszugeben. Über das Spiel selbst muss man denke ich nichts sagen. Es ist von 2007, sieht aber besser aus als viele moderne Spiele. Vor allem aber ist das Gameplay überragend - man hat keine Open World, aber sehr offene Level mit völliger Freiheit, wie und von welcher Richtung aus man seine Ziele angeht. Selbst ganz ohne die Grafik ist es eines der besten Spiele, die es gibt.

The game is beautiful but it's basically unplayable for me as it crashes too many times. It's odd that this game is still sold in this state. Good parts of the game are that the graphics are very nice and the enemies are actually challenging and require you to change tactics to complete objectives. The negatives however are that it has poor optimization, the game crashes too many times and for some reason framerate is capped at fullscreen. The gunplay is also pretty whack. Unless you're ready to troubleshoot and fix the game-breaking bugs yourself, I advise not playing the game. Unfortunate!

This one is probably one of the best FPS ever. Great plot, great gunplay, and the graphics that even today are still good. Unfortunately it doesn't work properly on Win10, and this is a shame. I worked with the compatibility options losing a considerable amount of time and at the end i managed to get the game started, but it works only on DX9mode, which means no fullHD, no DinamicLights, no very high textures etc. A pity, because many years ago i didn't have a PC suitable for this game, now i have the PC but the game is a mess. But this isn't a 15-years-old-boxed version, it's the Gog version: it's really a pity that Gog, which should be the home of the old games, sells something like that. Obviously the technical support is not able to give me a solution. I don't want to give a bad rate 'coz the game is still great, but i am very disappointed.
