To difficult. Bad ballance. Random.
Graphics, sound and core gameplay are great. But game lacks of difficulty level, restart mission and save/load options. Money ballance is bad. The game depends of random number generator too much.

Strategic Roguelite
Tough as nails game. Came in thinking it was a run and gun. I was sorely mistaken. Got destroyed on the first ship. You definitely have to get better with the shield, managing your weapons, better aim, and slowly and methodically going through each ship or it will take you out very quickly. At first, i would have given it 2 out of 5 just because it wasn't what i expected, but that's my own doing and after coming back a few hours later and trying it again, i was able to get a couple more ships into it and really enjoying the gameplay and the challenge. Fun game.

Game won't launch
Game crashes at start of new campain. I am aware that users complain, I see no feedback from game developers. Installing video splitter/decoder/filters nor XNA 4.0 doesn't solve the problem. Cannot rate full stars a game that doesn't even launch.

Game breaking bugs
Right when I started to like the game, I got trapped inside a room with no exit. As that happened in the last mission of the mini-campaign, I call this game a total loss. No way in hell is it worth a time and effort, just to not be able to finish the whole game because of such no-go bug

WARNING: Virus alert
The game itself is nice, but it is bundled with a virus. In most cases a am using the Mac version of a game. In this case the game is using some kind of windows emulation. The original windows .exe is bundles in the mac bundle. In reason that my virus scanner can also detect windows virus I found: Gen.Variant.Ursu.435026 The GOG support can not help i case of this an will forward you to support@alientrap.org
