Can't see the map due to popups.
Anytime I click on anything, a context menu (often large) and a new window or three open. During the tutorial level, there's even more popups. I literally spent five minutes trying to move an army, but simply couldn't because things kept popping up, blocking the map. It reminds me of browsing the internet in the 00s; close window, close window, close window, close window, clos........ The game is clearly complicated enough. I don't need it constantly shoving even more information in my face every few seconds.

Excellent
One of the best political management strategy games on the market. Extremely complex, mostly faithful to history with options for fantasy playthroughs. The only negative is the large amount of DLCs that add crucial game mechanics and essential flavor for astronomical prices. Recommended on a sale.

Take a look at Star Dynasties
CK2 is just inferior when it comes to modeling the opinions that characters hold of one another. It's relatively simplistic here and feels game-y. Another game-y thing is how your commanders can teleport around the map in medieval times ... So quite some immersion breaking and hence frustrating things in this strategy RPG. Star Dynasties is better in these regards.
