Surprisingly enjoyable
I like games like these and saw this one in the gog-sale. But after reading the reviews I was skeptical. I tried it anyway - and played it for many hours. I can confirm that there are severe bugs in this game but after knowing about them it is possible to work around them. The most annoying thing was employees or animals frozen in a location. In that case I had to reload a whole day. Extremely annoying. But it only happened three times. Despite that I am glad I bought this game. I played it for a few dozen hours and probably will again at some point. The story is intriguing and the game mechanics are not bad.

Promising but too many annoying bugs
I really like the concept but it is very difficult to pursue the storyline because of bugs. My employees often stuck in walls or stairs. In this case I have to fire them and employ new ones but it's not always feasible especially when you are satisfied of your employees traits. The alternative is to destroy the wall or stairs in question (for free), wait the employee leave the place and buy a new one (1000 gold for stairs, in the beginning it is long to obtain this amount). Among other bugs. But I really think this game have great potential, I'm just a little disappointed because I've been waiting this game long ago.

Bugs...
... und mehr Bugs! Ich kann mich den anderen Rezensionen nur anschließen, es scheint eher eine Beta denn ein fertiges Spiel zu sein! Das schlimmste, weil vollkommen unnötig: Speicherstände anlegen ist nicht möglich, da im Menü zeitgleich die Shortcuts des aktiven Spiels reagieren! Ausserdem sind im Deutschen auch einige Teile englische Sprache (für viele mittlerweile ja kein Problem mehr), aber auch Französisch ist schon aufegtaucht. Da wirds dann schon eng mit dem Verständnis! Alles in Allem: Lieber noch ein Jahr mit dem Kauf warten oder ein Angebot unter 5€ nutzen!

Quirky and Vague
I'd rate it lower but the game's charm did bump the sore up. Plus I do like some of the mechanics that I don't see in other tavern sim games. It does an okay job teaching you the mechanics but there are a lot of mechanics about staff management that are not explained and one has to grope around to figure out. The game also seems to still have a few bugs that can crash to desktop or have staff members perpetually in an infinite loop of doing nothing while trying to do something. Save often.
