Relaxing game with heart

The characters are well thought throug. There is a whole big world hinted throught the storys of the characters. It aint a viusal novell but half of the game is reading. The crafting is deeper then i thought at first. With the spyglass you can compare what you build with what was asked for. There are a few bugs, nothing game breaking and nothing a restart of the program didnt fix. (Ingot falls through the ambos at one point, had to restart) The save system is per costumer, not per line in a conversation. You can save anytime, but keep that in mind. Thats why only 4 stars. This game is a labor of love and i enjoy that. Hope you do too.

Sweet and Wonderful

Honestly the only thing I can critique on this game is the ammount of time I sepnd on it. I enjoy every aspekt of the crafting/smithing from tools and weapons, the dialogues are unique for every npc, the voices suit them wonderfully. I'm already looking forward to every second. There are a few bugs here and there, but for now its only creating funny moments to me and the autosave helps out to not loose much to any bugs so far. Also the option to deactivate the minigames is very helpful if you play until laten night and keep messing up your orders and don't want to ruin your 5 star streak... Long story short: This game was worth every penny and every second I spent on it!

Has a number of bugs at launch (bugs with reloading, and my geode hammer is gone), but I am enjoying it nonetheless.

Good but missing oomph

Sometimes game-breaking bugs aside, while it’s decent enough fun, and the humour and eccentric cast of characters is a huge plus, I was hoping for something more like Coffee Talk, where the making things is mostly a throughline for a visual novel thing, and what narrative there is - mostly about the neighbouring factory/capitalist city of Spindelgard aiming to put crafters like yourself out of business - just isn’t strong enough to hold up as a visual novel. I do love the cast, especially Freifrau, and wish we had more repeat customers instead of single appearances that would up feeling a little shallow. Loved Saskia (the vixen) partly because she’s one of the few that regularly shows up (four times). Also quibble, but I am disappointed that your ultimate commission, in a land as wonderfully diverse as Windspell, comes for the generic white male fighter guy. Most of the cast is more interesting than him,p; I’m unsure why he gets to do the sendoff. Quibbles aside, given another few weeks of bug-squashing and it’s a decent, compact crafting game with a large and interesting cast, but otherwise a little forgettable.
