tedious game, force closing code errors
i was counting down the days till this released and don't understand the praises this game is getting. it was disappointing. i couldn't even finish the game properly as it would force close with a code error box during the ending at the same time multiple times Chapters 1 , 2 and 6 were the only enjoyable parts. Chapters 3,4,5 maps are not that good i found very tedious. Constant backtracking gets old very fast combat is well done but easy on soldier (medium) difficulty. there is an over abundance of items and ammo. not survival horror at all. you'll waste time hoarding items and thats OK if you were planning to replay the game but Conscript just isnt fun or engaging enough to want to learn anyway. the front line trench fights are well done but you 'll die to rats more than enemy combatants. Rats will commonly swarm you as soon as u enter a room, meaning items such as the lighter and gas can are mostly useless. molotovs are also mostly useless as u dont throw it far at all, there is no throw trajectory and when u get close enough to a group of rats to throw it, they re chasing u anyway on top of all this, enemies dont follow u offscreen and they re easy to dodge through altogether meaning u could avoid most combat encounters any way That would be fun for a speed run except, as stated above, i cant even properly finish the game any way. There is no endless mode, no replayability its a waste of 12 hours and $27
