Cold Waters

Controlls are to difficult to manuver and the game doesn't give time to figure them out.

This is the best subsim game I can find. would love a map editor and new missions. maybe some online fleet vs fleet or 1 v 1. ship, weapon, sensor, engine... mods.

For me it really is like some other reviewers have commented: it is essentially a torpedo evasion game. Maybe that's essentially what submarine simulators in the modern age are but compared to 688i Hunter Killer....this game seems to be focused primarily on that aspect of submarine operations. Great to pass an hour or two but after a while the game got a bit too repetitive for me. Opposing ships in the game seem to know exactly where you are located on the map and their torpedo trajectories seem to confirm that.

cold waters is a game about submaines. commanding a ship at war is a complicated task at the best of times, doing so as a layperson is a nightmare. a fun nightmare, but a nightmare none the less. runs well, plays well, kills you dead at the first mistake

If you like submarine games, this is one to have.
