Good Story
Good emotional story. Its a good length without dragging too long. Only wish was that it was more clear on endings and break points since there is no manual save. But you can always continue after an ending.

Simply Lovely
A straight-forward story told in the way early digital RPGs excelled. Multifaceted art shares a story heavy-laden with details and exposes us to one life that is finite and bound by irrevocable decisions. When combined with the lovely hand-drawn art, a contemplative pacing, and music designed to drive feelings our exploration is guided down many possible paths, yet our choices are paid with the closure of possibilities. Personally I found some choices demand I buy in to the interest of the protagonist at the cost of my real feelings. It has been a very long time since a game told such a moving tale. And not many games call me to replay, but once I recover from this first experience, I am excited to see what other fates wait for me to travel along. Thank you to all who shared this tale. Right now in my home country this helps my perspective more than I am allowed to express.

Alright
This game starts with this awesome "I've got to scrounge to stay alive" vibe that I really loved, everything you do has a cost even if it succeeds, felt very cool. But then it became apparent you could, somewhat quickly, remove all possible threats and get enough money to never worry again. Also there are parts with walls of text to click through, I found myself not even reading. Tasks were a little repetitive but I still liked em

Surprisingly Good
So, first off, this is mainly a narrative game. There's a randomness mechanic, but if you're smart you can find ways to make it work for you & work better. Characters are neat and have more depth than you'd think, there's tons of paths (and multiple mutally exclusive dialog options encouraging multiple playthroughs), and plenty to do as you learn about the world you live in, what life is like, the good, the bad, etc.
