Chernobylite

This game is like METRO. It is an interactive movie, with linear approach - following a plot. It has logical issues - not able to climb, where there should be a space and objects to do it. All seeing detector - helper to find things... Semi-open world, not really open. Can we have a game with just simple instructions and free roam in the open world and figure out things for ourselves? The graphics, textrures, atmosphere in Chernobylite are superb! But that is not enough to give it 5/10. So I give it 3/10 for now. If the team needs consultants, please do not hesitate to ask me - free of charge, do not want profit. I have enough money to buy the game development if I wanted to do it.

I LOVE this game. However there are a few glitches that never got patched namely if you take damage while holding the pistol theres this really weird animation glitch that happens pretty much every time. It's annoying and I don't know how the devs haven't fixed this.

Finally a good game again that really takes you away like a good book. Great voice acting, cool story (or stories), beautiful graphics and effects, some real action - or pure stealth for hours if you prefer - and a few jump scares (but horror is not the main theme). One of those games that leaves you kind of empty after you finished it. Waiting for part 2. ;-) Huge compliment to the dev team!

I found the game very interesting on the one hand but very disappointing on the other. The gameplay is not bad, although there is nothing never seen before. The fictional story based on the real nuclear catastrophe of Chernobyl is pleasant and consistent with the real facts and with Tatyana who teaches her boyfriend about it. The fights with the enemies are quite plausible. The crafting is good, the system of the relationship with companions as well and the system of being able to delete or change memories is quite interesting. The graphics are good with smooth movements but sometimes there are some hiccups in collisions with the ground. The disappointing part lies in the enemies that are not very varied (only two types of human enemies, + the Dark Stalker and two types of monster enemies), which leads to the game becoming boring. Personally, I've gotten to a point where I can't get on with the main story, always repeating the side quests, with no hint on what to do, so I don't think I'm going to continue.

Best russian-style shooter I've played since the king STALKER:Lost Alpha. Was great 4 years ago. Is greater today. So many updates, graphics enhancements, etc since release. So yeah, it's a game... it has it's ups and down. Is it the best game? No. Is it worth a play? Absolutely. I'm in it for the atmosphere, graphics, play-at-your-own-pace missions / exploration and it delivers!
