Sanitarium?
This game has a very similar feel to Sanitarium that was released in 1995 which is also available on this site. It has the same type of setting where your character wakes up unsure of what is going on in his surrounding environment and has to solve puzzles to get answers. I personally think Sanitarium is way better but this one was interesting too.

Got sucked in after Stasis
It's a short, novel like prequel for Stasis that sets the mood of the successor game - Stasis. Pros: - Art plus voice acting - Great atmospher - Hey! Its completely free. Cons: - The Pda entries, which give you an insight in the station past and the history of this game chapter. They contain clues and pointers so they are a usefull read. It's not about the what's written in them as I understand they were intened to give you an impresion that it is the npc who wrote them, so no compaints there on scrips or punction and syntax as this was probably intended. The problem is... they also give you an insight on the NPC itself. They all seem to be horrible socio/psychopaths with weird, gross fetishes and manias. Kinda went way overboard with this, as they all seem like taken out from a C rated slasher. - The temp and humidity riddle is kinda too much and can get you frustrated. Got stuck on it for a good hour. Unneccessarily prolongs the game in a frustrating way.

Decent game with many flaws
You can try this title only if you have nothing else in your backlog. Overall I do not regret the time invested in it. Pros: FREE game with decent environment graphics, interesting story and athmosphere (although it takes some patience to piece together the story from all the bits on information), puzzles are not that hard (I finished it without outside help). Cons: short (finished it in around 3 hrs taking my time), a few illogical puzzles here and there, weird character model and animations, annoying voice cues on the main char (the yelling and gasping ends up getting on your nerves), very tedious exploration and progress (unskippable cinematics and dialogues between sections, painfully slow moving character combined with a need to constantly backtrack to previous areas) resulting in an overall numb experience.

Is this game finished?
The game seems promising, has good graphics, voice acting and the story is interesting enough, but it has so many quirks it doesn't appear it was tested enough and is still in development. The inventory is opened and closed with different keys for some reason, the protagonist's voice level ranges from something close to a whisper and then suddenly, when trying something that doesn't work a loud curse out of the blue. And other times she remains entirely silent, as if the suddenness of her reactions are on purpose to... wake you up? You click on something (name of the item appears on the low right corner) and activates another thing closeby, it could also get stuck, quite rare for and adventure game and probably only happened to me while playing Telltale games -unfortunately they rarely patched their games-, which again gives the impression that the game was released before it was finished and thoroughly tested. As a bonus it is free, it gives some taste of what it can become but for my part I'll leave it as it is and maybe come back to it once it's finished.

interesting
First of all it is important to understand that as this is merely a free demo, you can't expect too much from the story. I liked the fact that there is the possibility to die, that is missing in a lot of games of this genre (runaway for example) The plot of the game is interesting; from the start, with the player stuck on the table, to the end on the elevator. Something I still do not understand is the first dead end, the birth on the operation table. I mean I can understand that the machine was not really patient-friendly, but not enough to die like that What I didn't like was the unskippable dialogue and some of the puzzles, that sometimes were really....hard to get maybe? Another problem I felt was a completely missing tutorial, that made me spend 20 minutes to understand what the heck I had to do to escape the first room. The last was the absence of a way to save the player in the ending, I mean, do you want her to die so much? okay! Make it the main route, and a hidden near impossible route where the girl can survive.... The ending like that felt like a slap in the face. It was like saying; it does not matter how much you fight, escaping a hidden lab that would make Orochimaru proud while still pregnant, your destiny is to die here!
