Very good game
I love this game. It's fun and easy to play. Playing a mecha or a tank and devasting a city in an old school and well done style is refreshing. We need more games like this !

Love at third sight
When the game was released I bought it because of the good reviews here and on Steam. When I started to play this game the first time I coudn't find the point why so many people like this game. I started to play the campaign, which starts slowly by introducing the differnt vehicles. It was very slow-moving, so I got bored quickly and quit to play the game at some point. A half year later I made a second try. But I came to the same conclusion. One week ago I started to play the game the third time, but this time I kept playing through the introduction. Then I played the Freelance Mode. There I realized that the Freelance Mode is the real heart of the game. While in the Campaign you can only choose between some vehicles with a pretermined loadout, in the Freelance Mode you can buy new vehicles and weapons and combine them as you like. Later on, when you've unlocked some more vehicles and weapons, the game gets better and better. Meanwhile I'm really addicted to the game. I keep playing to unlock more and more vehicles and weapons only to see what they are able to do. I also realized that this game is not the ordenary bullet hell shooter. Later on, when the difficulty rises, you really have to think about tactics and how you can fulfill your goals. Sometime you also have to do some stealth and you have to plan what buildings to destroy first. One example: If you destroy the radio towers, the enemy scout units can't set off the alarm and call other enemy units for support. The goals are mostly the same, like destroying specific buildings or enemy units and then flee through the exit, but this isn't necessary a bad thing. The game is more about the challange, how to achieve that. In the campaign mode has some kind of story, but this story isn't really worth mentioning and is told in some text windows. So for me this was really love at third sight. I can really recommend this game.

fun learning curve for casual gamer
This is a highly enjoyable game which is friendly to a casual gamer like myself who likes arcade action mixed with strategy. The controls are good. Each craft has its own particular feel in terms of movement and arms (hovercraft are the most challenging to pilot). The sounds and music are excellent, but I changed the mix to emphasize the effects which are mixed quite low by default. From the screenshots, it looks like a simple sprite-based isometric shooter, but the lighting effects make the atmosphere highly immersive and are critical to gameplay. The story is a little confusing. The plotline, if it exists, isn't spelled out (so far anyhow). The narrative is strictly tactical and there's no detectable notion of "good guys" or "bad guys". It sounds like there was a coup, and Brigadors are hired to get back control of the colony by whatever means necessary. The mission backstories help move the missions along, but there are constant reminders to read the accompanying LORE to get the full picture (I haven't bothered yet). The gameplay itself is expertly crafted. The missions are ordered in such a way that as you get comfortable with the mechanics and routines of missions, dramatic variations in mission objectives are thrown at you to get you out of your comfortable tactics.

SOLO NOBRE MUST FALL
This game is basically an Isometric Mechwarrior title mixed with Vangelis and John Carpenter. Also you;re in Space Venezuela and everything is at war. Get it, please get it. Not just because this game is fun to play or because the lore is amazing, not because Mandalore told you, but because we do not get games with this much love put into it often anymore. GREAT LEADER IS DEAD.
