A solid gem

I purchased Blood on sale because I remembered a childhood friend had the game on their computer I loved it and it's aesthetic back in the day. I have to admit I was initially a little disappointed at the pacing of combat in the early stages and I got a little nauseous from how the game handles depth perception as you move around and look up or down - I even considered cancelling my purhcase within the first few hours of gameplay, even though I'd only spent a few euros on it. But boy, am I glad I stayed. Once I got into the groove of the game I grew to love it one more. The weapons, the enemies, the level design - it all oozes such quality and charm that I feel compelled to press on. The little details and references tell you how much the devs loved their game, and it's so much fun to be taken on their journey through the different maps.

Fantastic game, one of the greatest FPS.

In my opinion, this ranks as one of the greatest FPS games that I have ever played. Satisfying gunplay, you really feel the impact of your shots. The weapons are fun. The atmosphere is quite palpable, especially if you enjoy campy horror and satires. The protagonist has some great one-liners. If you've enjoyed Doom and especially Duke Nukem 3d, or any of these boomer shooters, please play this game. It's worth your time. A great Build engine game. The only thing that sucks is our usual enemy: hitscanners. Hate 'em. And like usual, keyhunting may be a bit tedious, but I didn't think that it was so bad. You owe it to yourself to play this game if you enjoy any sort of FPS.

Excellent upgrade

Blood: Fresh Supply is a delicious version of Blood: One Unit Whole. While the original version, WHICH IS ALSO INCLUDED AS A GOODIE, runs on MS-DOS via DOSBOX, this release is self-contained in a shiny new engine with a whole bunch of polish, new graphical settings and the gameplay is unchanged! This is the original Blood you know and love, but for modern hardware. For the price, especially since at the time it's 50% off, it's well worth the price. And again, you get the original DOS version for free, included.

After all these years, still relevant

Blood is one of those games that really stands through the test of time. For starters, this game was even the reason for me to join GoG, in the first place (and it's was a good thing 'cause it introduced me to a world of incredible games that I would eventually add to my library). Even the old version remais very playable today, but Fresh Supply surpaces the boundaries and makes this awesome title even more reachable to players that have some difficulty in embracing old technology. Back to the game, everything that made it great in it's original release is still here: Lots of blood (as the title already sugests), cheesy and clever lines, inventive and overpowered weapons, lots of action, secrets, easter eggs and gruesome enemies. Do yourself a favor and grab this game. You won't regret it. Blood lives... again!

Don't buy this game. It's an unfinished mess currently. Buy an older versioon, you'll be better off
