One of the All Time Best!

Blood 2: The Chosen (Blood Group as it's called here) has become one of my all time favorite shooters. It is a wicked combination of the violence and gore of Doom with the witty and darkly hilarious humour of many black comedies from the 80's and 90's. The gameplay is timeless and the silliness of the game is what makes it shine. There is a pretty funny part where you are riding an elevator and almost the whole level is just that elevator. Blood 2 breaks conventional standards for FPS games by being very meta and being over the top gory. BUT. There is one problem. The game barely works on newer computers nowadays unless you get dgVoodoo and a bunch of community patches. Be prepared to go through pain when you try and set this thing up. I personally had problems with mouselook, cutscenes skipping randomly and hideous lag. But if you manage to get help from the community and set it up fine, Blood 2 is one of the greatest and groundbreaking shooters I have ever played and I feel this was a clear inspiration for the 2016 Doom game. A must have.

Excellent game but..

I rate that game with 5 stars just because i love blood 1 and the blood 2 is not bad at all BUT Blood 2 well it has some flaws i think ( im not much of mistake finder hehe so i dont give a fuck if some model glitches sometimes or something like that ) Anyways...Its not good as Blood (one unit whole blood) because B1 is just awesome and the graphicks are better in some angle haha and well its just excellent game with alot of graveryard style creepy stuff .. cultist screaming ( one of my favorite things ) then creepy ass zombies . good atmosphiere and very very good soundtracks ! BUT Blood 2 is very good as shooter its kinda intresting id say and the game is not short at all comparing to new games.. if you see one weird person sayingh here that b2 is 1/5 star game then he can F Off u know just F off and i dont care .. because blood 2 is worst than blood 1 because Blood 2 is EARLY 3D AGE .. think about that for second .. instead of 2D sprites theres 3D graphicks and stuff .. and the game is made in 1998 so its very amazing graphicks in that time... SO THINK BEFORE RATING IT with 1/5

Broken

Another game GoG clearly did not check to see if it actually worked. Graphic problems are abound with no clear fixes. If your HUD isn't missing, then your frame rate will be in the single digits. The game, if it works, is fun enough. Not as memorable as Shogo, in my opibion, or nearly as good as the first game. 3/5 if you manage to get it working. GoG, stop releasing broken games. Please.

Complete and utter dogturd

This game is a disgrace in every way. It's not worthy of the Blood name, and not worth a single minute of your life. First of all, it's chore just to simply getting work on modern systems, because the normal GoG version definitely won't work on Windows 10. After an hour of installing mods and configuring stuff, it finally started, and... it's one of the worst FPS games I've ever played. Its ugly, the levels are boring, empty and linear, almost all weapons suck, the enemies have inhuman reaction times, all bullet sponges (like 3 sniper rounds for a basic enemy, or 50 bullets), and they kill you faster than you can blink. There is not enough ammo and health in the levels, and all this on normal difficulty... And don't get me started on the bugs. Stay away from this steaming pile of shit.

Worst and last.

It's a shame that this game killed the series... It really did. The first game was fantastic. The second was just a glitchfest of band animation and 3D model design. If you haven't played the Blood-games then skip this one and just play the prequel, One Unit Whole Blood. You won't be disappointed with that one.
