Thats a great game, but not up to date on gog... And the devs are just ignoring it.

Overrated
I like the atmosphere and the artwork, but it stops there. If you don't have/want a game pad, then this game isn't much fun. Screen tool tips that are supposed to appear don't always happen for keyboard controls, so a lot of the time I'm wondering how to get to the next stage trying all sorts of different combinations which isn't fun. The in-game help doesn't even tell you what key combinations you should use, so that's not even "help". Note to developer, old school PC gamers don't like to hook up game pads to their computers, it's an extra gadget that we don't like to maintain when a keyboard will do the same and more. Also, the dialog is cryptic and not something I want to spend my time digesting while gaming. I have no idea what's going on story wise which makes it difficult to understand what exactly am I supposed to be doing? Hack and slash through the levels, explore for loot to level up my character, return to old areas to get things I couldn't before? Is this an open world or a linear hack and slash?!?! It's too confusing and really not as great as everyone is saying. I have buyer's remorse on this game and am asking for a refund because I don't pay money for frustration.

Love it... loading times not so great
I love the game.... But the loading times between screens are a bit much and interrupt the gameflow.

Save your money, STAY AWAY
Please for the love of everything, stay away from this trash. If you want a sidescrolling castlevania type with a dark atmosphere, do yourself a favor and play Dead Cells, it's superior in LITERALLY every way gameplay wise. The grotesque imagery is great, and all the religious symbolism is pretty cool too, but the gameplay is awful. Just abysmal. There's not one fun thing you can do in this game. Your sword is underpowered, the enemies are overpowered, the environment kills you, and every time you die you have to walk all the way back to where you died so that you recover your spirit otherwise you will be EVEN MORE UNDERPOWERED. There's elements of a good, even great game in here, but as it is right now, it's an exercise in frustration
