Story super, technisch schlecht.

Schöne Story, Synchronsprecher sind auch gut gewählt. Die Steuerung nervt hart, man läuft z.B. ständig gegen unsichtbare Barrieren. Die quick-time-events funktionieren bei mir nur nach Lust und Laune des Spiels. Im eine Moment muss ich die Taste in den Controller hämmern, beim nächsten Mal reicht ein einziges Mal drücken. Das macht echt keinen Spaß. Ich hab kurz vor dem Ende aufgegeben, als es vier qte nacheinander gab und ich nie über den dritten hinausgekommen bin.

Grauenhafte QTE

Das ist kein Adventure, sondern nur eine Annanderreihung nerviger QTEs und Mini-Games. Dieses Machwerk verunglimpft die Blacksad-Comics. Reihenweise QTE verderben den Spaß an der wahrscheinlich guten Story. In einer Szene ist Blacksad gefesselt und muss seine Katzensinne einsetzen. Leider wird weder erklärt, worum es sich dabei im Spielkontext handelt, noch bekommt man eine Einführung, wozu sie im Spiel dienen. Stattdessen gibt es nur den Hinweis, dass Blacksad zwei Sachen mit seinen Katzenaugen entdeckt habe. Ja, was denn? Darüber schweigt sich das Spiel aus. Lest lieber die Comics. Die sind ihr Geld wert.

Nice story with quick time bug

I enjoy this game, the atmosphere, and especially the music. Also the visuals are neat. But sadly there are some bugs during the quick time events, e.g. you want to grab something during a fight, grab it but the came continues as if nothing has happend and you have to replay the scene over and over.

Solid, but unpolished

I enjoyed the plot, and I think the mood from the comics is there, plus the strong, serious noir inspirations make for an overall rather pleasant experience. However, many choices in the game are empty, subplots feel unfinished and without proper send off. What bothered me the most however is that there's no run button, and the player can't skip dialogues nor cutscenes. If the player will fail a QTE challenge they are forced to rewatch sometimes quite lengthy cutsenes, which is annoying. Not too mention that the overall feeling of sluggishness kills replayability factor. I've also enountered a bug. I failed multiple times a space mashing QTEs. It turned out that I have to set my monitor's refresh rate at 60Hz (I had it at 165Hz), otherwise the QTEs are borderline impossible to finish. I also think there's a bit too many said QTEs, and at some places I'd simply prefer more classic puzzles instead of walking around and clicking enter or WSAD when prompted. All in all, I did enjoy the game, but I found playing it annoying quite a few times. I'd recommend it for the fans of Blacksad comic books, and people interested in noir whoodunit stories in general.
