Title says it all. Glad I tried it and I am glad it is free. Surprised I had never heard of it before. Very surprised that it is free.

Neat, not compelling
It's okay. All of the story is given through text and there are more than a few threads. Not much reason to care about what's going on. Quests are almost worth nothing. If it were linear I think I'd enjoy it more. Arrows should not cost 5 currency. Enemies do significant damage and the healing item is really weak. Weirdly quiet. Maybe that's the point... This should've been an itch io game, honestly.

This suffers from annoying problems
The main one has to do with saving. You can only save one game and when you return to the game, it will only return you to the last checkpoint, which is useless in an adventure game. Also, if you put up the map, the game doesn't pause, so if there happens to be an enemy ahead of you that you don't see but who sees you, you'll be attacked. That's not fair. If it didn't have these problems, it would have been playable for me as I was able to fix the really awful high-contrast view and put the color back. The visuals are very appealing... in color.

It's Dull.
Yup, I hate to say it... and I tried to play for the second time... but unless you are an afficionado for this very, very, VERY particular kind of game (with abysmal combat, a level design that either gives you TOO much information or none at all, and a general really bad design pace - not even slow... just... bad overall) then... stay away. Even if it is free... it's generally not worth it.
