Battle Isle Platinum (includes Incubation)

I had the demo for battle isle 3 on an old disk I found, it only allowed one mission with a few empire fighters subs and super robots. I've probably played that demo over and over 50 times for 100's of hours I'm ashamed to admit. The AI is brutal and will use every trick it can to kill you even till the last fort it still seems to pull tricks on you. I loved every play of it and glad to see it available again since when I found that demo the game itself was no longer being published by anyone or supported on new OS.

I played all of these back when they were new, Battle Isle 2 being the strongest reason I had to buy my first pc (486sx25). All these GOG versions play the same, BI3 was always an awkward one to view due to windows 3.x and scalability issues plus some low-res fmv (which really did look like that back then). I've still got all the disks and manuals from the originals, but no 3.5" drive! Great to see them playable again.

The Battle Isle series are a combination of some of the most enjoyable games I ever played.

You can manage to run it in windows 10/11 by checking the appropriate thread in the forum, the expansion of Incubation (Wilderness Missions) it's a chore.

Hier bekommt man wirklich ein Paket mit vielen tollen Spielen. Zugegeben muss man sich auf die Bedienung einlassen, da mag man heute etwas anderes gewohnt sein. Aber man ist schnell drin und dann macht es mächtig Spaß. Eine Ausnahme hiervon ist Incubation, das spielt sich wie ein modernes Spiel und macht ebenfalls richtig viel Spaß.
