Battle Brothers - Warriors of the North

It adds a great new layer with new enemies, loot, tactics, locations, etc. Great addition to an already great game.

After i spend 150+ hours playing BB in the last three or so weeks, i can surery say that this is my new favorite game and one of the best games i played ever, since someone gave me a portable Tetris console about 30 years ago. The RPG element is really light, all quests are simple and there is no real difference in the choises you make, but anyway i have never considered as a true RPG game. The unit/characted builds are simple, yet giving an option for dozens of viable builds - there is not cookie cutters, nor really wrong way to develop your fighters, so you can adjust everything to your playstyle. I, for example, like to have my roster separated eavenly between archers with just a bit of skill in handling polearms, using all possible debufs (injury, overwhelm and fearsome perks), shield bros using one hand axes and hammers and 2h berserks using swords and axes. And it works - i was able to win a bettle against 9 alps without loosing single bro, same with 3 lundworms, even if most pro players are saying that this is not an good build. And yes, when i reach 10 000 renown with this band, ill start from the scratch again, maybe trying using more barbarian/orc weapons or few duelists, or why not having the whole roster with some ranged attack skills, peltering the enemy with 12 bows between reaching melee range? Long story short - i love this game, i am recomending it and i can't wait for the new expansion later this year

I don't have BB on GOG.. because I've had it on Steam ever since it went into Early Access. It is a thing of beauty. 512 hours logged. Even before the DLCs this year it was a great, but with them it simply shines.
