Great Batman game
Way back in the day when I was younger and couldn't afford anything I remember sailing the high seas for this game. I felt bad about it because it was definitely worth the money so I ended up deleting it and getting it down the line. It's not as big as Arkham City (the only other in the series I've played) but it still feels great to play. It does a great job of making you feel like you're Batman. It's worth a play if you liked the other Arkham games and haven't played it yet, or if its your first game in the series. Definitely check out Arkham City, I enjoyed it just as much but I don't own it on GoG... yet.

Landmark game
Really fun game with an excellent story. Lots of death; not for young kids. Excellent voice acting from the stars of "Batman: The Animated Series", Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill. Collectibles are fun rather than tedious. Boss battles are varied and challenging. Combat is intense. Exploration is rewarded and upgrade system teaches you the game as you go. It's kind of a no-brainer to buy it.

A brilliant must-play
Batman Arkham Asylum was so ahead of its time, it still holds its own. I played it "back-when" on the PS3 - but I wanted to re-experience the game, to see if it was the masterpiece as I remember it to be - and it was. The "boss fights" are not something you'll remember, but the atmosphere and feeling of actually being Batman, is unsurpassed for any hero game. From what I remember, Batman Arkham City is equally great, but the game-play is slightly diluted due to the "open world", but the boss fights are a lot better. Batman Arkham Knight - I'm not touching, since it looks like the devs completely forgot what the game was about - and made a driving game.
