Baldur's Gate 3 wird mit der neuen Divinity-4.0-Engine entwickelt und gibt dir bisher nie dagewesene Freiheiten. Du erforscht eine Welt, experimentierst und interagierst mit ihr, und wirst Zeuge, wie sie auf jede deiner Entscheidungen reagiert. Die epische, filmreife Geschichte bringt dich deinen Charakteren näher als je zuvor, während du durch unsere bisher größte Spielwelt reist.
Die Vergessenen Reiche sind ein gigantisches, bis ins kleinste Detail ausgearbeitetes und abwechslungsreiches Szenario, in dem es überall Geheimnisse zu entdecken gibt. Besonders Höhenunterschiede bilden einen wichtigen Teil der Erkundung: Schleiche, tauche, schiebe, klettere und springe, während du von den Tiefen des Unterreichs bis zu den glitzernden Dächern der Oberstadt reist. - Im Mehrspielermodus können du und deine Freunde eure Kräfte bündeln und sogar die Gruppe aufteilen, um eigenen Quests und Vorhaben nachzugehen. Schmiedet gemeinsam den perfekten Plan ... oder streue ein wenig Chaos ins Getriebe, wenn deine Freunde am wenigsten damit rechnen.
- Originalcharaktere mit speziellen Herkunftsgeschichten bieten eine einzigartige Erfahrung mit individuellen Eigenarten, Absichten und ihrer eigenen Sicht auf die Welt. Ihre Geschichten überschneiden sich mit der Hauptgeschichte – und deine Entscheidungen bestimmen, ob sie mit Erlösung, Errettung oder Herrschaft enden oder einen der vielen anderen möglichen Enden nehmen.
- Erlebe rundenbasierte Kämpfe mit den Regeln der 5. D&D-Edition. Rundenbasierte Initiative, Vorteil und Nachteil sowie Würfelmodifikatoren treffen auf spezielle Kameraperspektiven, erweiterte Möglichkeiten, mit der Umgebung zu interagieren, und einen flüssigeren Kampfablauf, der Strategie und Voraussicht belohnt.
- Deine Entscheidungen und Würfelwürfe bestimmen das Schicksal der Vergessenen Reiche. Wen auch immer du spielst oder was auch immer du würfelst, die Welt und ihre Bewohner reagieren auf deine Geschichte.
- Der rundenbasierte Modus ermöglicht dir, die Welt um dich herum jederzeit - auch außerhalb des Kampfs - zu pausieren: ganz gleich, ob du die Möglichkeit für einen taktischen Vorteil vor einem Kampfbeginn erkennst, einen Überfall mit höchster Präzision planen möchtest oder aus einer teuflischen Falle zu entkommen versuchst. Baldur’s Gate 3 is something special, though. Its complexity is intimidating, but sticking with it and learning has such a high reward threshold that it's hard to not recommend the sequel to even the most casual gamers out there. It has heart, it has style, and it has the multi-year effort of a studio that obviously loves its source material. The mind-blowing size of the game itself and everything contained within is a testament to Larian Studios' dedication to its craft and commitment to bringing something incredible to the gaming public. The blend of the various Dungeon & Dragons systems into the game is almost flawless in its execution, and the math and storytelling combo does a one-two punch on almost every other RPG game out there. High quality and astoundingly fun, Baldur’s Gate 3 may just become the kind of game that old and new fans can agree is something extraordinary.

Never put your trust in game companies.
Larian taught me you should *NEVER* buy a game on pre-order, even if you thought you trusted the company. My rating is unfair to the artists who worked hard and are involved in a wildly abitious and largely sucessful project. What we've seen in the game up to this point is nothing short of impressive, and yet expected from a company with larian's catalogue. That said, unfortunately there are other problems, and I'm not talking about the development time, which I understand had to be long. Some minor gripes of mine include the launcher they added and the fact they release some information exclusively on the other virtual game store. While I understand GOG might not have the resourses for dev posts, I don't see how this would stop them from posting the same info on twitter to keep everyone on the same page. What really pissed me off is that the latest patch is somehow unavailable on GOG, and upon asking for clarification on social media... there's no reply. I have no reason to believe that they randomly decided not to upload the patch to this platform this time, but if they don't tell me the problem is not on their end I have no way of knowing whether or not it is. Finally, according to what was said in the latest patch showcase stream, they're adding radical -left progressive anti-scientific propaganda to their game, n0n-b!nary nonsense, which means larian will be just another sucessful entertainment company slowly sucked dry of all its talent to be replaced with friends who share the same ideology. This was the most telling sign, but it wasn't the first, as they have complained before over white, male and human OC's being the most popular. I've seen this movie before enough times to know the results, and it's a shame fans of the RPG genre will be precluded from the art pieces that could have been in the horizon of the company. As it stands I wish I had been more patient, as to avoid funding things that go against my values.

I was going to get this game, until I saw the revew on the second review page, about the bear.... So I have some dignity left I wont buy this. And I was going to. But this is getting out of hand. Them and their bear can shove it.

game is good, but
global launch is a complete mess and fail. nobody said mac os version will come later than pc version. nobody says where are offline install files 4 hours after the global release. nobody says that game still cannot be played even after downloading via gog galaxy.

No, just... no
I played BG1 and 2 since the 80's, still revert back to them very regularly as they are and still remain pure magic. Devs then took the time to make sure players had the best of time playing their games, there was passion and ambition. I also liked DOS1 and 2 a fair bit, even considering turn based combat is not really my thing, growing up with BG RTWP system. That being said, I think Larian abused the name and reputation of BG for their own benefit, it is like they polished some cheap dented copper and are trying to sell it as gold. This game has nothing to do with BG, nothing. Hijacking the name of the city and adding some iconic characters from the original does NOT make it BG. Not every panda can Kung Fu just because it is a panda. If you're a BG fan you'll be very dissapointed by this DOS-clone claiming to be something it cannot deliver. Larians decision to take away the players choice to play RTWP is one I cannot condone and until they acknowledge their mistake and laziness I will never again play this horrific mismatch of promise and delivery... The disguise of Larian being a rising star in the gaming community now suddenly avails an old and sad one trick pony that can no longer pull their weight.
