Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition

I enjoyed the storyline a lot. The gradual reveal of the main character's backstory was nicely done, and I liked the villains. I also appreciate a plot that has a sense of urgency while still giving you "breaks" to walk around, explore, gather some loot. Not sure about the expansions, though. There is a remote area that was originally only accessible through an expansion. With minimal spoilers, it puts your semi-urgent plot on hold for at least two weeks, which seems excessive. Then there is the much more recent expansion which bridges the gap to the sequel - a gap I would have rather let remain a gap. Overall, though, a great game. I got way too into figuring out the rules and looking up how a Fighter/Cleric compares to a regular Fighter and such. :)

Great game

One of my top five all time favorite games. I still think this game is the closest thing to 2nd edition D&D I've yet to find. I wish there were alot more games just like this one and even bigger. Immortal campaign?
