Still one of the best CRPGS
An instant classic from the golden age of Bioware. Party based CRPG at its best. The story is not as good as Planescape Torment and there's not as many combat encounters like Icewind Dale. It's the best of both worlds. Lots of possible party members to recruit and a few big decisions to make. High level D&D battles, especially with the expansion. Worth multiple runs since different builds change the game a lot. This Enchanced Edition is mostly good for running the game on modern systems (just tested on a fresh Windows 11 PC). The old originals are still great with mods. Still, worth every $ on a sale.

The save game feature got fixed?
i bought this game about a year ago (2024) and trying to save the game was a mission. apparently it got fixed since last time i played it, because i was able to save my game without problems.
