Short Fun game
The battle system is interesting but it does starte to get boring soon but as the game is not that long it does not affect the actual gameplay. It also has a nice little story to go along with

Acceptable, but could have been more
Ancient Enemy is a rather pretty game. However that's about it when it comes to it's strong points. The story is well written but rather bland, oozes pathos and frankly overstays it's welcome, despite being short. The RPG mechanics feel undercooked, or like an afterthought. The gameplay itself is decent. Though the combat felt like a lost opportunity to be engaging and feel like a combat. It's sad, really. The game shows it has potential to be something much better. As it is now it isn't bad, as I had some fun, but it isn't good. Hence, I'd grade it as a solid 3. Good one
I like this game, first of this type for me, solitaire+rpg, the graphics are good, on normal you can re-try the hand, the music it is nice, the story it is so-so written, the gameplay it is fun.

Too expansive for what you get
A short solitaire reskin with a couple of new mechanics sprinkled in...and it heavily relies on the luck of the draw. You are always just one restart away from beating a stage in 2 turns instead of being beaten. Time flies anyway, tho. If you like the genre and it's <5€ you might as well, otherwise I can't recommend it.
