An alright card game

The visuals and soundtrack are alright. The story isnt that interesting, since it isnt developed in a meaningful way, theres a lot of talking about nothing. Gameplay is fine. You play a solitaire type game where you generate points for attacks and defence, can use skills to either attack the enemy, improve yourself or aid you on the solitaire board. It was amusing, but nothing felt particularly impactful. You seem to have quite a few items, but you wont use a lot of them, since theyre not really cost effective. There is also a character development system, but I cant say it adds much either. Its one of those games you play on the side while listening to something, not much more.

Great card game

This game is like Iratus and Solitaire love child, not overcomplicated, nice looking with quick matches. A short, interesting story is written around it, I enjoyed it all through. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that after half-time of the story the game tends to be a bit repetitive and the story is a bit dull. Other than that, if you can get it with some discount you should buy it.

Decent Solitaire, Bad Value

Decent solitaire type game where you charge action cards to damage your enemy, but the problem is that damage is king and all the gear cards and abilities are seldom used except for very specific circumstances which means that most of your time will be trying to build combos to maximize damage. The default dagger is rarely used except for last minute chip damage, there is no option to upgrade beyond the standard dagger. The story is terrible, the mage stumbles from battle to battle proclaiming monologues that nobody will read or even make sense of. For $15 dollars the value is trash.

Excellent game given only two designers

You face a seemingly hopeless apocalyiptic wasteland (sound familiar); you just barely eke out existence with death only a blow away (hmm, even more familiar). Absolutely amazing given that only two people developed this game; judged otherwise though (by professional company standards), the story, progression, plot, and last boss were sad disapointments.

Compelling Little Game!

It had sat on my backlog for awhile, and when I started playing it, I couldn't stop! Great little game. Having also played Shadow Hand, I'm going to be contrarian and say this is the better game. It's very tightly designed and leaves me with more of a satisfying sense of winning with skill than dragging along with luck. It's not an an amazing game, but it is a solid one.It's not especially challenging, the art is fine, the story isn't terribly interesting, the world building is nothing to write home about. You could strip out all the fantasy elements and replace them with some other theme and you would lose nothing, so I really can't give this 5 stars. But based on the strength of the gameplay alone, I can definitely give it 4 stars. The gameplay itself is really great. Heartily recommend! It's about 10 hours of gameplay, so price accordingly.
