Among the Sleep - Enhanced Edition

Heard about the game from few friends and had to check what it's all about. Have to admit, watching gameplay videos on youtube didn't had me, It looked dull and just another pointless horror adventure. I was wrong. I sat down to see what's the fuss is all about, no expectations ahead, but everything changed after 5 minutes of gameplay. It's a unique concept, a world seeing through a toddler POV with a real depth to the story and symbolism. Is it scary? Not really, a few jump scares here and there, but the real magic here is the hypnotizing nightmarish and very often psychedelic world that the player is immersed into. No spoilers: The ending scene was rough, unexpected.... Left me speechless really. It will get to you. Overall - Excellent game, very unique and although many people said it's too short, I find it to be very satisfying, and if it was longer, it would lose its magic.

I own it on Steam. A survival horror - yes, but told from a new perspective. Is it all a dream? A vivid imagination of a little child? Who knows? It took me around 4 hours to finish, and it was worth it.

And really, the only creepy aspect of this game is the ability to cause motion sickness. The fact that a 2 year old is still crawling but can do other non age-appropriate feats is odd, too. The art work is gorgeous though; I'll give it that.

I'm the kind of person that doesn't like to frightening scares. Just like a simple monster walking around or a sudden static! this game had a great story I can relate to and it was a wonderful (yet scary) experience
