Poor console port
Pros: - Real akiba district - Good story and characters Cons: - Controller only. Controls doesn't work with mouse & keyboard, and all tutorial shows only controller buttons. - Be ready to study level-up tutorials. Game grows is not intuitive and soon you'll be beaten to pulp by enemies.

Ein Action-RPG der besonderen Art.
Achtung: Ich beziehe mich in dieser Review ausschließlich auf das Gameplay der von mir gespielten Fassung für PS Vita. Mögliche Probleme des PC-Ports sind mir unbekannt. Akibas Trip war auf der Vita ein Spontankauf im Laden und ich habe es nicht bereut. Auf dem ersten Blick ist es ein (leicht versautes) Beat'em'up, bei dem man den Gegnern die Klamotten vom Leib prügelt. Tatsächlich ist Akibas Trip aber ein Action-RPG mit zahlreichen Haupt- und Nebenquests, in dem die Geschichte einer Vampirbedrohung in Akibahara, inklusiv Japano-typischer Lovestory erzählt wird. Gelootet werden hier Kleidungsstücke jeglicher Art, was tatsächlich unterhaltsamer ist, als es sich anhört. Nur grafisch überzeugte das Spiel schon bei (West-)-Release 2014 auf Vita und PS3 nicht so ganz. Die Dialoge mit Visual Novel-Standbildern sind sicherlich auch Geschmackssache. Wer auf JRPGs mit flottem Kampfsystem steht und keine tiegründige Geschichte erwartet, bekommt hier ein überraschend unterhaltsames Spiel mit seinem ganz eigenen Charm.

PC TOO NEW
I had to get a core 2 duo system to play this game on my ryzen system camera issues and controls issus this game hasn't aged well. I been replaying this game more on the PS3 due to not being able to play this game on my main system. Don't get me wrong its looks like i remember but 1 tap on the buttons triggers a hold and the player grabs even with a xbox 360 controller. And my Main PC has Ryzen 5 3500 16gb ram Radeon RX 5700 Older PC Core 2 Duo e8400 8gb rx 570 This is how it came second hand and it plays the game without the camera issue and the controller issue locked at 30fps but dealing with 2 pcs to play games is a pain

not actually female protagonist, fullscreen doesnt work and the game hardlocked me right out of the start in the cutscene. fastest refund in my life
