A New Beginning: Final Cut

First things first, the game artistic direction nailed it. Panel, art, characters are really nice, every thing have a personnality, you believe the world you play in. The story is good with some interesting characters development. The little cinematics that take places like animated page of comics are well done. This is the strong side of this game. Some weak point : the labial synchronization is off. The game have a lot of details and that's great, but in the other hand, you barely see objects you must use to solve the riddles. So i was reduce to sweep my screen with my mouse to catch what i missed. There is no logic in the solving sometimes : one moment in the game a character told you that he can't support spicy food, and what do you do ? you spice the food in front of him and then give it to him... I admit i had to go see the playthrouth several time to see the end of the game, but maybe that's on me. I haven't done many point and click/riddles type of game in my life. Overall a good story with a unique design. If you're not use to this type of game you will struggle for sure.

This game isn't that bad at all. It has a very good story about the current state of the world climate, the good and BAD power invested in this but also dilemmas surrounding the matter. Plus this is not a typical Daedalic game with obnoxious characters or Moon logic.

I liked the game. The story is interesting. I didn't have to pixel hunt for items, and if puzzles are too difficult, they can be skipped.

Not extremely difficult, which is something I enjoyed. As there are games that frustrate me when they seem to be stuck and the reason is that you're missing a pixel or something like that. The topic is also interesting and a good way to transmit the idea. The quality of the animations and character development is great.

A very good and beautiful Point & Click. Puzzles are not too difficult and the harder ones can be skipped. The only problem is one point of the plot : the very german biased vision of nuclear energy and blindness to their addiction to coal and methane. Hopefuly , the quality of the adventure and characters are saving the day.
