lemonrev I would like to know once you complete i think the first compain and you go for round two , the mountain track theres a bug with the game on cd at least that just exitis you out completely, I would like to know if someone else has gone through this game breaking bug ?

Captain_Rage This game needs to be on GoG! Ignition was developed by the Swedish game studio UDS, if I recall, and it was pure fun back in the days.
breadfan96 Is there any real chance GOG can get it back for sale? Old CD version doesn't work on Win7 and I would love to play it again.
Der_Richter One of the best overhead racers of all time. I still have my original box, it is still awesome in multiplayer. My original copy works ok on Win 10 out of the box, with some tweaking, so should be doable. Don't know who might be holding the rights for it these days though.

asaguda Alright, so I voted for this maybe a year or two back. And I keep checking back to see if they've added this to their catalogue. This little racer is my childhood. One of my favourite games of the time. I still played it from time to time until I couldn't get it working under Win 7. I still get the cravings. This needs to come to GOG.

JaapGeraerts Such an incredibly fun game to play, especially when playing against friends in the co-op mode. The tracks are great and the whole game has a wonderful feel to it. Truly hope that GOG will make this game available soon.

You can drive a police car, a bus and other bizzare vehicles on exotic routes. I really like this game!

Would love to get this on gog as the cd i had was lost/stolen sometime.
I just dont know if its possible anymore as the developer no longer exists and the publisher is also gone as far as I understand.
I guess the best we can hope would be a free remake using the games assets just like someone did with the first Need for speed game (XNA).
Or alternatively if some indie dev really liked Ignition they might make a game inspired by Ignition (a game in the same style)

Horhew One of my favourite games I ever played. I spent COUNTLESS nights (including 2 or 3 New Years Eve's) with my friends playing this game and it never got boring. Not even once. To be able to play this once again would be a dream come true.
Kukulcan When i think of something like mario kart for pc , i think of this game. Had it as part of a collection of games in 1999 and installing it now and then during the years , but now it won't work on 7. Really wish GoG would put this up alongside some other gems.
gabiballetje There are so few of this type of racer the past few years. It is easy good fun, several cars with own characteristics, being able to bump each other, have a turbo, and some scenery hazards, like trains etc. Good clean fun !

eating_tv I was playing Death Rally today and thinking to myself: This game reminds me so much of a game that I just loved to bits. It doesn't stack up to Ignition. A fun arcade racer - just lovely to play with great atmosphere.

BeyondScratch Forgot to mention a post I stumbled upon when I searched for information abut the game; www.bobulous.org.uk/ignition/news.htmlIt explains how you can tweak the difficult settings on the other cars! Be careful though, and make a backup of the file your tweaking, since it could break the game! Anyhow, heard the games works okay in W7 32bit and64bit if you get ahold of it from another source. BeyondScratch This game is AMAZING! It was the first game I tried out on my familys first, new comuter, and it looked GORGEOUS! :D to play the 'country'-level for the frst time with ligtning effects and rain were truly magnificent, and the arcade feel to it made it pure joy to play against my brother. It was like a slice from heaven to a 10-year-old :) unfortunately It never reached the states at the time, so I assume it's a lost cause for t to appear here at GOG.com :( thx UDS for giving me a great experience as a child :)
