Welcome back to the Guilty Gear universe!

Guilty Gear Isuka is a 2d fighting game featuring 27 unique characters, each with their own skillset of special moves and abilities. Along with the cornucopia of playable fighters, Guilty Gear Isuka boasts several modes of play. In Robo Ky Factory, create and customize your own fighter and customize him with moves from other fighters within the game. In GG Boost mode, you’ll go on a side-scrolling adventure, defeat a horde of enemies, and avoid the deadly traps that litter the level.

Every fighter has access to a complete set of Universal and Instant Kill moves. Gatling Combos allow you to string together combos of Normal Moves for a rapid-fire attack. Make use of the power of the Instant Kills to quickly take your opponent out of the competition. Guilty Gear Isuka will leave you breathless as you fight your way to the winner’s circle.

Not so bad and not so good

Different controls and 4 player battles - this is first thing you'll when you start playing. And I didn't like it and i didn't spend much time playing in this mode.
But it still is GG - good music (not so good as in XX Reload but with awesome ending track), nice new characters (A.B.A!!!) and Robo-Ky 2 beat-em up with some character development (Robo-Ky's variations of other characterread more moves - priceless).
Still, I would prefer to see GG XX Accent Core (more A.B.A for me) on PC than Isuka.

The odd one out in the series...

Isuka has a problem. The problem is that it is catering to the fans of the series while being a very different kind of game from the other GGs. It's not even a 1 vs 1 fighting game.
If you want to know what the fuzz is about Guilty Gear, buy X2 #reload instead (also on gog.com) or get Accent Core in consoles.
If you want to get a fun game with some combination of beat em up andread more fighting game mechanics (think double dragon + Guilty Gear) get this one. You just need to get accustomed to turning left and right manually. Mortal Kombat Mythologies is the closest example I can think of similarity.
Still, I'm waiting for gog.com to release Guilty Gear X, also on PC but with compatibility issues on Windows 7.

Guilty Gear is my favorite fighting game series of all time. You should not buy this version of Guilty Gear. Seriously. This game was one of the first results of Arcsys and Sammy's infamous teaming up, and it is terrible.
It had neat ideas.
It has a four player mode (with foreground and background areas they could fight each other in) and a Guilty Gear hack and slash mini-game.read more These modes could have been cool and would have been fun if they did not mess up the controls of a 2D fighter so badly.
The controls are not like all the other versions of Guilty Gear because they tried to adapt them to "work" with the 4-Player/Background-Foreground combat system. It feels awkward to get used to, and even worse to actually play, and anyone you manage to get to play with you might dislike you for it.
I hear that, for the Guilty Gear Beat Em Up (first featured here but as said done poorly), Guilty Gear Judgement on PSP actually did it right. Judgement also had some Netplay. Why didn't they put Judgement on PC? Who asked for Isuka? It's not worth it.
