What is yours and why? I've only played 5 games (Origin, 1 & 2, Felghana and Celceta) and so far my favourite has been Oath in Felghana, despite believing Origin to be strictly superior in almost every conceivable way.

I don't know, I just find it more charming. Maybe it's the awkward voice acting, or the fact that Origin has you playing through the exact same set of levels 3 times, but that's where I stand on the issue.

I only played Ys 1+2 , Origins , Oath In Felghana and Celceta (on Ps Vita) ....Probably my favorite right now is Celceta because of the more open world and the party members

I prefer the Napishtim style of gameplay, but I loved the characters in Celceta.

I have only played Seven, Celceta and Lacrimosa.

I liked the customisation options of seven (in terms of adjusting character states rather than the reduced options of later games).

I enjoyed the dynamic between Ricotta and Zahad in Lacrimosa of Dana.

But ultimately of these three I enjoyed Celceta and the premise of mapping the forest the most.

I think though that I will like Ys 9 more than Celceta when I can get around to it.

I played ys 1 and 2 chronicles, origin, oath in felghana and Ys VI - The Ark of Napishtim.
Think that i liked felghana the most though origin gameplay was also something special.
Also liked ys 2 very much.
