Installed Worms 2 Plus two days ago, it finally makes the game run on my Windows 10. It has just one or two minor rough edges, but the game itself is stable and doesn't have any slowdowns.

Haruka_Tavares: All you need is the retail version of the game. You install it from the disk and you cut its frontend.exe file and paste on GOG's folder and replace the file.
I don't have the retail version of the game? I also don't even have a disk.

Yenti_Ikele: How did you manage to get worms 2 running on your windows 10. I downloaded the Carlmundo packages and runned the frontend.exe file but it says "cannot find unnamed file". Do you have suggestions. Kind regards

How does the music work for the CD version? I have the old disc, but the music was embedded as cda, not wave files to my knowledge.

You can do the classic cheese landscape and such by going into the editor in Armageddon. Didn't know that before.

I can't get it to work,even with the plus patch i won't start. Mayby A Windows 11 problem

Carlmundo: After wrestling with fixing the game for hours on end, I managed to get it working and made a patch installer that works for both the GOG and CD version.

- Applies the last patch (v1.05)
- No CD required (CD version)
- Borderless windowed mode (via ReSolution)
- Fixed issues with the soundtrack (GOG version) and no longer requires the CD (CD version)
- Re-enables online multiplayer (GOG version)
- Play online without extra configuration (via FkNetcode)
- Added Demo and US servers (the UK server is down)
- Automatically sets the graphics to their maximum level
- Unlock classic Worms terrain options without using the "OSSETT" cheat
- Flexible Weapon Editor
- Flexible Option Editor
- Terrain editor doesn't lose focus when you click "Generate"
- Fix Character / Logon Restrictions and Typing Click
- 2 additional flags for online - Nuke & Team 17

For me the installation of "Direct Play" as suggested by Win 11 did the trick at least to the menu. Then the game hangs when loading a mission. I'll have to see if there's some fix.
