Logs location:
On Windows Vista or later: C:\ProgramData\GalaxyClient\Logs
On Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\GalaxyClient\Logs
On MacOSX: /Users/Shared/Galaxy/Logs

3. If you encounter any other problem with the application, please post a detailed description, and if possible - method of reproducing it.

Marenubium: Hello,
Just downloaded and installed the game.
The launcher won't start though, it keeps on "running" without doing anything.
OS: Mavericks 10.9.3
Could you please remove everything, download the game installer once more and install? Seems we've put online a corrupted installer.

Let me know if that helped.
Ha! Totally works now here :D
Deleted everything & installed the package "the_witcher_abg_prod_030_galaxy361_052_signed.pkg"

Thank you :)
DLL problem under Win 8.1 prof, 64 bit at startup, see attached image.

Well if nothing else thats some mac issues solved :-D
I have a couple of issues, but first a couple of questions.

(A) I install all my GOG games to D:\GOG Games. Do I need to change the installation path for this one? And to where?
(B) During installation, I noticed that the installer (or GOG Galaxy client?) creates the path C:\GOG Games which is empty. Is the game supposed to be installed there?
(C) Upon uninstalling, a good number of traces related to the GOG Galaxy client are left behind. Is this going to be fixed (because I hate it when apps behave this way)?

And I uninstalled everything to try again with the latest installer after getting answers to my questions. :-)

Cheers!
Game Launcher not working in Windows XP 64-bit.
Can't find some function in KERNEL32.dll during the install and launch
In Win 8.1 64-bit (my second OS) all is ok.
Same error, same message here. No log generated by installer.
(Windows Vista 64bit / French)

Launcher doesn't start.

Windows 7 64 Bit.

Game version: Even though the download link says it is 0.30.01 the downloaded file's extension has the numbers 2.0.30.25 in the end.
Hi Guys!

I've played a few matches ever since I got the beta key, and today I got the error "Entry Point Not Found".

I tried uninstalling the program and installing again, but I get the same error when installing.

Everytime I try to run the Galaxy Client I get this error and it won't run.

I'm using Windows XP 32bits.

Logs and error message in attachment (logs is a txt file, just change the extension).

JohnWayne12: Hi,

Just installed the game on my PC but the "Launch" button is not active, so I can't start the game at all. The message at the bottom of the launcher says "Up to date" though..

Help please ! ^_^
I'm experiencing the same issue. I have windows 7 ultimate x64.
Installed it on Linux and the game complains it doesn't have the launcher - where is the launcher supposed to be located? Can't find it on my disk.

On another note, is it possible to pass the auth data via command line so I don't need the launcher?

Any chance I get some clarifications? Please?
Aight so one issue here that anyone who has multiple drives and an SSD as a main will recognize. For one I never got to choose where to install the Galaxy client. Secondly I have changed my registry so as to install every installer that actually bothers to check my registry (but still not bother to ask) where to install files to go to a secondary big ass HDD. Well the client didn't but rather auto-installed to C:\Program Files (86x).
So when I try to launch the Witcher Adventure thingy it says that no Galaxy client found where the registry points, meaning I have to change my registry simply to get the game to work, and then change back now whenever I want to install something new again...

Pls fix this.

TL;DR: Make sure the Galaxy installer checks the registry for program files, or simply ask. Now it does neither, even though the check from the games goes to the registry.

This bug has been fixed, it will be available in the next version of Launcher.
