Hi guys,

We have uploaded patch 2 (PC) and an updated Mac installer for Wasteland 1. Please check your game shelves and download either the Universal update (patch 2) or the new Mac installer to have the latest version of the game :)

Changelog:

- Changed the paragraph display/overlay and fixed missing paragraphs
- Reduced freezing issue further
- Cloning bug fixed

Thanks and have a nice day! :)
Cool, thanks!:)
Again I'll say - patching a 25 year old game - makes me giggle.
Thanks!!

There are companies that aren't patching 2-year old game anymore -.-"

Well keep in mind that they are only patching things that have been added to the original game & DOSBox settings. These patches are not for the original game itself.

Good to know they are patching a bug not newly introduced. I never encountered this issue myself. Then again, I originally played Wasteland on a C-64.

Exactly. I don´t know what´s funny here, this is definitely a proper approach for re-release.

Well, it is funny, if you think about it. Maybe he even had in mind what I wrote in response. That would be funny and sad at the same time, then :D

As long as he´s not criticizing Inxile for patching old game, just because it´s old, I am having a good time too :)
No, really, in all seriousness, I appreciate studios who take an effort to update their games for modern OS-es. Arcane did the same with Arx Fatalis - they released last patch 7 years after release, or so? Just to make it more friendly for newer hardware + higher resolution.
Granted, it is not 25 years, but you got my idea.

Okay, good! Don't think it was that sort of jab, honestly. But that's something only he can tell for sure ;)
This shows the devs are cool, can't wait for Wasteland 2 and all the other (Kickstarter) RPGs coming out the next years! :)
What was the cloning bug?
Nice.

But I'd rather like if the windows installer will be updated like the Mac installer in future. Downloading 60 MB isn't a great deal today and it's more comfortable in my opinion, when I like to reinstall the game in future. Then I simply have to run the installer and don't have to apply several patches afterwards.

ekj7: What was the cloning bug?
An issue with the cloning tanks not working and maps breaking in those areas.
