Will there be a linux version on gog?
The game has listed linux support on steam, but not on gog.

As I've added the game to my wishlist the Linux-version was also listed. Now this is a Windows-only release. What happened, GOG-Team? Seriously: This is not funny anymore what some publisher do to us with their release-politics. This is also going to be something like "Metro" or "Age of Wonders 3"? Linux as STEAM-only? :-(

One of the reviews said you need GOG Galaxy to play this. I'm assuming that's why they took down the claim that it runs on Linux and Mac, since GOG Galaxy is currently Windows only. They literally can't offer this game until their stupid game platform is available for those platforms. That also means the game isn't DRM free and their FAQ on GOG Galaxy that claims it's optional and that you can download every game from the website and run it without GOG Galaxy are lies.

If that's how they're going to be about it, I'll just buy the game on Steam. Their game client runs beautifully in Linux.

If that's the case then I will deny the purchase: The game is marked as DRM-free and a client for the game to be started is the opposite of this. And STEAM is no option for me: Way too much boundaries.

Me too, but the final decision to leave the game out is the missing Linux-version and the multiplayer-dilemma at all. I just don't want a game with missing or reduced features. In fact: Only using the singleplayer and no multiplayer for example over VPN-connections.

I guess those reviews were wrong. That's good to know. Thanks.
I also would like the Linux version. Steam has it. Any official word?
+1 for Linux version.
Why releasing it on Steam but not on GoG?
Any news on the Linux version?

I would like to know that before I can decide if I buy this game on GOG or on Steam.

The devs stated it was to do with the heavy Steam integration used in the Linux version.

Ditto! Been waiting to purchase this and if it drags on too long I'll go grab it on Steam...

Any update guys?
Damn, I bought it and did not pay any attention to te fact that there is no Linux-Version on gog. Now I have to use my old Windows-Partition for playing it... How unfortunate.
Hope there will be a Linux port soon very!!!
There will be a Linux version really soon.
