Well, i progressed in game far enough. And i have spotted some differences already. Differences with vanilla 1.2, that is, but i noticed those in the "Legacy" version of GOG.

I can remember an old exploit back in the day, concerning the serial killer, in the final stage of "Carnival of Death" quest. You could convince him to stop killing, earn your 2 XP but failing the quest, then talking him into battle and killing him, earning you 2 XP AGAIN (but even though you "succeeded" in that quest, in log it goes to the "failed" section)...

Now in legacy version of the game, you cannot do this nice little trick anymore, plus what is even worse, letting him go doesn't earn you no XP anymore...

I was wondering, because actually, those aren't the only differences with the vanilla i am used to playing again and again since years ago, if there is any method i can fully uninstall the unofficial patch, or any other way to restore the GOG's version of the game to that of the original, vanilla retail one...

I would appreciate any help, advice, solution. Thanks in advance...
Eh... delete the mod folder and launch the EXE file without additional parameters? I don't really see the point though, the mod only loads if you tell the game to do so. Simply opening the 'vampire.exe' starts the original game without any mods.

Just to be clear: there is no such thing as the "legacy version" of the game. That is only a windows shortcut in the start menu that points directly at vampire.exe without loading any mods or any additional parameters. It is a straight v1.2 game, the last version released by the developer.

Well, an exploit like this is obviously the result of a bug, so the Unofficial Patch would try to fix it...
