I was wondering if there is a way to disable Vsync in Unreal Gold. I checked the settings but didn't find anything related to Vsync.

Thanks in advance.

Why would you want to disable vsync in Unreal Gold? The game is so old that if you disable it then it will run with many hundreds of frames on modern machines, which will likely result in screen tearing if you use a standard 60Hz LCD monitor.

But regardless, to disable it you need to go into the advanced rendering options (or edit the Unreal.ini file). For D3D there is an option to use vsync (true/false). For OpenGL I have a FrameRateLimit option (set at 60). To get to the advanced options you need to type 'preferences' into the console at the main menu screen when you load up the game.
