Been trying to find a solution like crazy for the past hour.. Two Worlds Epic Edition completely skips all cutscenes.
Im not sure what to do at this point... some posts say to uninstall codecs, others to install... and some posts seem to imply GOG fixed the problem by convering the videos to .wmv.... nothing works :( I just wanna play a game I paid for....

The cutscenes are finnicky. Use the ones provided in this post. They worked fine for me. Just replace the original ones in the Video folder.

Thanks for reply... sadly I tried those files too and no dice, also I think I read somewhere that the devs already replaced the cutscenes already with those... Im wondering if they need to be converted yet again for the latest windows 10 update

Weird. Worked for me and it was like 3-4 months ago.
Can confirm that cutscenes appear to work for me on Windows 10 (both Two Worlds 1 & 2), tested within the past month.
I've just completed Two Worlds 1 on Windows 10 and all the cut-scenes played correctly for me except for the one in Qudinar (Cut3.wmv).

If you have a problem seeing any of the cut-scenes they are in .wmv format and can be viewed in almost any video player (Windows Movie Player, GOM Player, VLC etc.).

They are located in:

(Your GOG game folder)\Two Worlds Epic Edition\Videos

Hi, sorry for necroing but I guess that his could help future users.

I searched for a solution for the issue and in my case changing the files in the videos folder did not help. I've managed to solve it by installing the K-Lite Codec Pack (standard version, default installation): now cutscenes and intro videos play normally.
