Hm, since it's just an installer, you might have to get ahold of a Windows machine or VM or something. Once you get the TA directory just so on a Windows machine, then right-click on the GOG package, show Package Contents, then go to Contents/Resources/drive_c/Program Files/GOG.com/Total Annihilation and put your updated files there.

This technique works somewhat. I Installed and patched on my pc. I took the Contents from the TA folder, and used "show package contents" to find the corresponding folder in the mac install. I replaced the folder entirely, then opened Wineskin packed with the mac install, and clicked "advanced", locating the correct exe, which in this case is TotalA.exe.

For me, double-clicking to select all similar units works, and the pathing seems to be much better. The megamap still doesn't work.

There are probably more parts that need to be properly transferred, but some of the patch seems to function for now.

okay i just downloaded Total Annihilation on a 2010 Macbook Pro OSX Maverick. I moved the game to my applications folder and tried to open it for the first time. the window was all scrambled and choppy, i could see a thing. then i could get a few bit and pieces of the game. i really would like to be able to fix this! please can someone tell me what i need to do to fix this???
