Anyone have any updates on the upcoming patch?

I'm waiting before I do another play-through.

The bugs with combat / crisis were very annoying and I want to do a more combat focused character this time. :)

Not really, inXile didn't give any date in either the KS update nor the forums nor ...

The only thing we know for sure is that first will come a "technical" patch with bugfixes and performances improvement, and later on one or more "content" patch with Oom (extra companion), improvement to Crisis system, in-game lore Codex, and who knows what more.

I'm a bit afraid that the console versions will slow down the patch release, since pushing a patch on consoles is costly they'll want to avoid pushing them too frequently, so bundling more things per patch... but well, patience is a virtue :)

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. Pain in the ass consoles.

Maybe i'll wait longer for the content patch too, I didn't know about that. Thanks :)

Version 1.0.2 just went live on GOG, enjoy!

Can I download only Patch on Linux. I don`t whant to download again full installer.

There seems to be no official patch for the GOG version.
If you’re OK with waiting a couple days, I can build custom patches for the Linux version and open a thread in this forum with download links.

Sadly I didn’t manage to reduce the size of the patch to less than 2.3 GiB, that’s more than half of the original installer size. Looks like there are really a lot of changes in this new version, or maybe Unity3D use compressed assets that makes the building of patches from the distributed data rather hard…

Sorry, but for now you are stuck with downloading the new installer.
