Every other platform got updated at the same time, yet the GOG version has not been updated yet as of this writing.
I feel really bummed here. I opted for the GOG version because I love me a DRM free experience, yet we couldn't properly save on launch day until they released the 1.01 patch on GOG, now we don't have the certainty that we will be able to update the game like all the other versions already have.
I don't wanna sound entitled, and I'm enjoying the games a lot, but as a GOG version user I feel like we got the short end of the stick regarding this game's versions...
Yeah, where the hell is the PATCH?!?!?!
This is making me reconsider purchasing new games on GOG, for sure.
Buying on Steam next time.
This is always my concern with GOG versions of games being late to get updates. It needs to be released on everything at the same time or it's a bad look for both GOG and the developers.
Looking at gogdb, it looks like the latest update for the game was made today. Maybe it's waiting for some kind of approval ?

According to GogDB the patch will be released in just a little over 1h and 20 minutes from now. We'll see.

yeah i don't think that ended up happening
Guys. Emmm... You get confused or its me who get confused? Is there is a chance you mean Feb-12-'24 entries misread them as Mar-12-'24?
I've not really used GOG much in the past, but is it kind of "normal" for this platform to not release patches for games at the same time as every other platform gets it? If so, I'll reconsider using it in future for any newly released game. Like the orginal poster, I want to support DRM free games, but it is a little disappointing when you know every other platform has received an update that this hasn't

I guess that's the case, that they are confusing the 1.01 patch that was a fix for the saving system for the new patch.
I just tried to update the game just now and there are no updates available, neither from GOG galaxy nor from the web download, the last downloadable patch is the one they released at launch to fix the problem with saving.
No updates yet. I've been eagerly awaiting this patch for a month and will have to postpone my playthrough because of GOG.

Yeah, my next purchases will most definitely be on Steam.
I have finished the game regardless of the game being patched, it was fun. of course, there's bugs but not game stopping bugs. I play offline because my laptop can't run games. I will play it again with the patch(es) as well. I don't see why people are complaining just get on with it.
Not sure if update is already live by the time I write this or if I'm being too optimistic, but could there be slight possibility update takes (this time) a bit longer to arrive in case they're also trying to fix Galaxy overlay problems currently present, on top of already addressed issues?

Well, here's hoping at least.

In that case, and answering also to Draco-CU29 and his reply in which he basically told us to "get over it", the public statements in which they say that all platforms have been updated (when it is not the case) shouldn't have been made.

This hasn't been hadled properly from an announcement and release schedule perspective. Expecting the customers to wait for the patch to arrive later at GOG after all other latforms have been updated just "because", well, that is simply not a good service to customers.
We paid (and some of us even preordered) just as any other customer from any other platform, as customers there is no reason for us to just shrugh it.

seen it where GOG would take about 2-6 hours for a release of a new patch, but 24 or more hours is unusual in my experience.

I wonder what is going on?

Oh boy, I was really expecting to try the game with the new patch tonight... I guess I'll have to wait. But for how long?
