People, don't forget to backup your TOCA RD3 game and extras. The deadline will be upon us in a couple of days (August 29).
Also be sure to test the integrity of the file you're using to make the backups. There's no point in backing up a corrupt file.
I already done month ago. I hope at least game covers stay on account 'shelves'. It always look nacier that way :-).
I'm hoping for that aswell. I guess they can leave the covers without any links on the shelves...
I don't know for sure, but I think it will be gone. I think it's considered "licensed images". I hope there's a way to keep a generic box that at least looks racecar'y.
So it's still one matter to resolve. It'll be gone on rule 'sorry guys, this might hapen, no refunds' or for example you might choose another game in exchange...
I don't know, but everything considered service wise i'm not really interested in a refund at this point.
I'm sure this was a valuable learning experience for the guys and i don't mind leaving it at that this time around.
I do want a cover on my shelf though, reminding me that i purchased the game, be it the original or a generic one.

The licensing issues in question are with the various manufacturers Codemasters licensed the brand names from. Not anything Codemasters themselves hold the license to. I don't see any reason why the box art would have to be removed, from a licensing standpoint. There's nothing on there that you'd need a license for.
Well, it's the 30th now, and it's still there. So maybe GOG are still negotiating to retain the right to provide downloads to those who bought it. Either that or they simply left it until Monday...
The 17th of september and nothing seems to have changed.
Sounds good! :-D

Yeah seems all still available to me.
I'm hoping it won't be pulled October 29th (when CMR is set to). :(
Maybe Codemasters forgot and GOG is just keeping quiet and hoping they won't notice...hahah.

Yeah, so far so good :)
Well, the date has come and gone for both titles and they are both able to still be downloaded. So I guess we're in the clear. :)
anjohl claims to have some inside info on the change in situation, but can't reveal it. Intriguing stuff.

That's good stuff, as long as it's true! :-D
so far it is still being sold on steam so something is up or codemasters just issued an empty threat and steam didn't comply or what ever. Ether way things have not gotten worse so far.
