I just launched the game in 1.3 and bloody hell, the game works now! I have went from low/medium to high settings. I can even run the Hair settings if I wanted to.
Nice to see there appears to be a performance boost, even with the hair settings.
What processor/ GPU do you have?
Holy cow ^^ can't wait to get home to try it out !
OMG, can't wait to get home, I'm stuck at my job for the moment :))
YES!

This is what I was expecting to hear!

I'm running an i5-2500K (4.5Ghz), 16GB RAM, GTX 970 OC and with EVERYTHING to Ultra + Hairworks I got between 43-45FPS during gameplay. If I turn Hairworks off, it jumps to 50-52 and if I put Foliage Visibility to High, it's steady 60. What can I expect from the patch? Anyone running a similar rig?

Definite performance increase.

GTX 960, i5 4590 and 8gb RAM. Before the patch, most things were Normal setting and few on high. Now I can run a number of settings on Ultra and still maintain 60fps.

Turning on HairWorks drops the FPS by about 15fps.
Also, cutscenes, unless you edit visuals.ini and manually set FPS for cutscenes to 60, they ran curiously choppy, not animating smoothly. Is this adressed as well?
I noticed a good bit of increase. The game seems to load much faster now too. I can post details on specs and stuff if anyone wants.
Please do! They'll also help other users in terms of setting their expectations, plus it gives us all wage slaves something to drool over before we can get back to Temeria and our true un-lives :)
Nope, I got a performance downgrade as the game flickers like a strobe light with SLI enabled now for me.
GTX 760s on 352.86 (the latest and one released specifically for this game)

Had to disable SLI for now.
I hope performance is better even at lower quality, especially with grass and trees. What about that grass pop-in? Still in there?
Nope, same performance with ATI 7950 i5 3470K. Hairworks still has to be off for me unless I'm ok with 30fps.... Which gets me thinking, is 30fps and ultra worth considering since I cant get constant 60fps on low anyways?
Scratch that, wrong info - patch shifted textures to low from ultra, now it all back to 35FPS.
Hairworks indeed less jittery, but still consumes approximately 10FPS for Geralt and some more, depending on amount of furry things on screen.
Funny notice - when I alt-tab (to write this, for example) game can receive FPS boost of ~10FPS, same could happen when I force-shift quality settings from ultra to lower and then instantly back. But first launch or loading save usually reverts FPS back.

At first I could play the game, boasted a few things up to medium went in to talk to someone, had a little galop with my horse, kille dosme drowners and then boom - white screen noice is heard but task managers tells me that the game doesn't respond. Still with all the tricks of borderless and unlimited fp cap etc.

Need more patching guys... I guess this might be playable in a few weeks?
Man, CDPR sure does rock my world. This is by far the most consumer friendly company. I really hope they don't change following this success, and keep delivering high quality games with decent conduct :)

I have i5-4690k, 16gb ram, R9 280 overclocked a bit. Got about 10+ FPS aswell :)
