Hi, this might be a silly question to ask, but is it possible to find and save current game progress on a usb drive or anything like that?
I can't seem to find folder with saves so I thought that there may be different way around it.
Is my gameplay automatically linked to my gog account or am I just doing something wrong by not being able to find it?

I just want to format my PC but i dont want to lose my progress in The Witcher.

Save files are located in the following folder:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\The Witcher 3\gamesaves

You can get last few or even better just zip all to your USB and they will be safe.
