green.anger: Do you mean Galaxy will verify files like Downloader does before downloading and not blindly overwrite them?
Destro: I was specifically discussing a case where TW3 installation folder was located inside the folder where Galaxy Client is installed. During auto-update of Galaxy all unknown files in Galaxy folder were removed, meaning games were also affected. Destro: For every other scenario where games are stored separately, Galaxy should verify files stored in a game install folder and compare them with the latest version of the game available in the Galaxy Content System. If the file is identical it will not be overwritten. If the file is unknown it will be left untouched. I've actually made a test with importing an existing folder with random files as a specific game... all the unknown files untouched and existing files were left alone because they were the same.
Hm, I was pretty sure if you clicked "Install" button Galaxy would re-download files. At least it was true for extras, there was a report in Mantis. And it's true for installers (yes, I separate them even though they're in the same section in Galaxy). I need to test it again. What files should I delete/modify in the game folder so that Galaxy could forget about the game and make "Install" button active again? Or maybe some modifications in registry is needed? I'm on Win 7 x64.
