do I just install the patch, and then try to install it, because I can't verify the game because I haven't installed it, and I can't install the game from the disks because the file is missing, and on all three disks there on TH and T2 files which are bin files, so any idea on what to do?.

Same for me, the first disc has the installation app, but it asks me to find the T-1 file which is nowhere to be found on ANY of the 4 discs.
I'm pretty much stuck here..

It's quite a huge fail, Ubisoft style.

Disc one has:
Auto run. Ico
Autorun
Setup_T2.bin
Setup_TH.bin
SETUP_TH.exe

Disc 2,3 and 4 have:
Setup_T2.bin
Setup_TH.bin

That's it, and we're required to insert setup_T1.

Well, the files certainly shouldn't be named like that.
Could you tell me where it was bought? There might be a problem with a whole batch.
In the meantime you can use the GOG code found in the box and claim your free digital copy.

EDIT:

Alternatively, you may try renaming the files but to do that you'll have to copy them to HDD (all to the same folder)
Rename them as follows:

Disc1:
SETUP-TH.EXE -> SETUP-TH.EXE
SETUP-TH.BIN -> SETUP-TH-1.BIN
SETUP-T2.BIN -> SETUP-TH-2.BIN

Disc2:
SETUP-TH.BIN -> SETUP-TH-3.BIN
SETUP-T2.BIN -> SETUP-TH-4.BIN

Disc3:
SETUP-TH.BIN -> SETUP-TH-5.BIN
SETUP-T2.BIN -> SETUP-TH-6.BIN

Disc4:
SETUP-TH.BIN -> SETUP-TH-7.BIN
SETUP-T2.BIN -> SETUP-TH-8.BIN

OR if there is only one .bin on Disc3&4:

Disc3:
SETUP-TH.BIN -> SETUP-TH-5.BIN

Disc4:
SETUP-TH.BIN -> SETUP-TH-6.BIN

I'll try both ways, thanks for the clarification and the exact renaming sequence.

I'm actually pretty sure that both disc 3 and 4 have 2 files, but I'll check in a few minutes.

Also, I bought the game through Gamestop(Italy), Collector's Edition.

Thanks for the support.

Basically, the setup looks for .bin files named exactly like itself but with -# at the end.
So if there are more .bin files on the discs, just increase the digit accordingly.
