So, just made my order, got my confirmation email, all is good.

The CD-key that is provided in the email, is that stored somewhere on GOGs servers? I'm just worried that if I go to reinstall this in a few years, I won't still have that email. I didn't SEE anything on the my account page, but I'm hoping I just missed it.
You only need it to register, and you just register once, so I wouldn't worry about losing the key after registeration.
Well if you try to redownload it after lets say a year, the patches are going to be there already most probably.
I did not get a CD-key in my email.

Your CD-key may be hidden in the E-mail, just like the link to the bonus game.
1) Patches will be integrated into the game installer you can download from GOG. If you re-download the game in, say, 3 years, you'll have most (if not all) of the patches up to that point. (The exception potentially being recent patches.)

2) The Witcher 2 purchase confirmation was borked for a lot of people. View the email as text to see the information that isn't shown in the HTML. GOG has stated they are resending the emails soon, so you don't really have to bother.

I didn't get a CD Key too. Nor a link for a bonus game.
Trying to download any bonus stuff I get a link that prompts to download my bonus game now, but clicking it, has no effect.
In the time of purchase I hadn't any option for a free game, so I thought GOG would contact us later, or they would add a link to our download options of the game.

How many of you have a CD key or the bonus game? Maybe the rest of us have to contact the support team.

EDIT: Looking the source of the mail, I found the CD Key and two bonus codes!
What does this mean? The first code states is for a 5.99 game and the second for a 9.99.
There's also a link to a page to choose the bonus game, but surprise... leads to error 404.

EDIT 2: The link provided in the mail has some extra equal signs. I corrected the obvious one and got to a page that informed me: "Please make sure you use the link provided in you confirmation email".
I assume there are still some extra equals in the link so I'll be waiting for their new mail tomorrow.

I got neither and I checked my E-mail in plain text -_-
Worked for me. I got both the CD key and the freebie, in image and in text form. 11:06 Pacific time.

Since I doubt they handcrafted an E-mail just for me, I suspect some ISPs' mail filters chewed a lot of the E-mails up.
Probably did, damn AT&T :\
Check the spam bin cause the key and the link are in eye popping colours :D
At least for the key, you can't miss it in an email. (if you are using the html email option)
I received my CD KEY and Free game link today, thank you GOG staff I appreciate it
